Fibromyalgia Australia
Fibromyalgia Australia works to improve research, services and care for Australians living with Fibromyalgia (FMS), Complex Pain Syndromes and associated overlapping conditions.
Fibromyalgia Australia endorses a holistic, multi-system, integrated management approach to care. This provides a balance of the best of medicine, Medicare care planning – including referrals to Allied Health and community management and lifestyle programs.
Fibromyalgia management includes specific education programs to empower people to make informed health decisions and work in partnership with their health providers towards prevention, well-being, monitoring and the acquisition of life skills.

We are currently working to extend a Fibromyalgia Specialist General Practice Centre to provide early intervention, assessments and multi-disciplinary support to General Practices, Allied Health and Community Education Providers. We are also raising funds to fast track research findings and validate the latest treatments for Australia. Fibromyalgia Australia is committed to up-to-date and accurate FMS information for both providers and consumers and to address the out of date information circulating on the internet.
