Our Projects
Bridges & Pathways participates in a range of collaborative projects and stakeholder consultations to improve services, research, and quality of life for Australians with poorly understood chronic conditions. We are working towards a one-stop shop Clinic and Research Centre—The South Australian ME-CFS-FMS Clinic and Research Centre.
Our current projects focus on improving patient care and outcomes, and include:
- General Practice Multi-pronged management pilot
- Pathways of Care for ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia
- Physiotherapy management of ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia – improving outcomes through identifying a range of techniques, skills, and practice experience from working with ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia patients.
- Piloting & Evaluating of Practice Nurse Care Plans, Health Coaching, and online resources to improve health and quality of life of patients with ME/CFS
- Establishing TeleHealth medical care services for rural and housebound clients
- Providing best practice information, education, and referrals with 24/7 support interface and online modules as part of the Care Plan Pilot
- Supporting research teams, and validating new tests and bio-markers from overseas and the private sector
- Updating the Fibromyalgia Australia Website and resources– site to include monthly updates/blog which may include direct links for eCare resources
All projects are dependent on funding from grants, sponsorships and donations
